This was supposed to be a comment on Louis' August 21st blog entry:
You have no idea how much I agree with you there.
Don't these smokers realize what they're doing to themselves and to
everyone around them?? It's terrible! After the Gwen Stefani concert,
when I stepped out of the stadium doors, I saw SO MANY Malaysians
eagerly lighting their cigarettes and puffing away.
What the hell?
If you're so eager to die, just hang yourself. That way, it'll be MUCH faster and you won't endanger anybody else's life.
I don't understand how some people can be so clever in school and come
from well-off families and preach about RELIGION and being good but
still smoke! That cancels out everything else man! Use your smart brain
and THINK, for God's sake. How is that little stick of cancer going to
make ANYTHING better?
I lose a lot of respect for people who smoke, no matter how venerated
they are by others. They should have Smoke Rooms in every building in
Malaysia- a nice little room with no windows and ventilation system for
smokers to enjoy their toxic lollies with the doors closed.
No need for applause, I know I'm a genius. Hehe :)

We had our last ever
Commencements last night. My last performance in Cempaka. It was so
saddening. Banun, Sze and I were so depressed and stoned the few
minutes before Body Percussion was up. It was the last time for the
three of us ZBAVITians would perform together in Cempaka. And we've
been performing together for quite a long time. Probably since Form1.
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh
Let's see what other 'lasts' there were on Friday:
- Last bus ride to Cheras.
- Last few moments waiting nervously backstage and being onstage in the North Hall.
- Last time to chill at Cempaka Avenue.
- Last time to hang around the CPAC floor.
- Last time to mess around in the Cheras campus at
night. (After having done that for the past 5 years, it will be sorely
missed.)
- Last time to fuss over hair and make-up preparations with the CPAC teachers.
- Last time to order McD's in Cheras.
- Last time to see the awesome sunset from the campus.
- The last time we'll have so much fun until our last SPM paper. :'(((((((
Aiyo.
Sad lah. I didn't want our performance to end so fast, but the ovation
we received was tremendous and it was such a great feeling. I say it
was worth ALL the sweat, sore palms and soles and pained ankles. Hurrah
for MumbleZ! -Swear to God, we didn't pick the name ourselves- And it
was so sweet when the teachers who've been guiding us the past month
rushed to give us all big bear hugs the second we got backstage. Aw!
Hurrah for Miss Ho and Miss Cheah! Hehe. Luckily, I missed Glimpses
2007 as they played it in the hall, or else my make-up would've gotten
even more ruined than it had when I was slightly tearing before the
performance.
It sucks how time
passes by so quickly when you're happy and so slowly when you're not. I
still can't get over the fact that I won't be a student in Cempaka
anymore in about four months' time. Or is it less? You know how I hate
Math. Hehe.
Luckily for me, I had
Shasha to teman me back home after the show. Kinda got my mind off
being too emotional and just breaking down and sobbing till dawn. We
had Burger King for dinner supper. Don't ask what I had for lunch. Okay, fine. McDonalds. Bah
I'll put up some pre-performance pictures once I find them..
Bawling time.
With the Driew Retsis

With Z
Louieeee! hehe I didn't know this picture was taken..
Part of the Mumblez team. MIA: Ms. Ho, Quang, Tara, Aimran and BeeBee.

Salams.
We had the Big Splash on Friday and it was SO AWESOME! After all these
years of just watching people jump in, we finally got to do it! Woohoo!
It was so much fun. What a way to distract us from our earlier
disappointments. Which were Seladang's loss of the iMovie trophy and
Harimau's loss of the First House Cup. Harimau was a point away from
Helang. Probably the closest we've ever gotten to winning in..how many
years? Ah well. Second is better than nothing. Much much better. Hehe.
Congratulations, Helang.
Irina's dinner party thing on Friday night was alright. Chilled out. I loved the cupcakes.
I've been watching Little Mosque on The Prairie. It's such a funny show. Sigh. Zaib Shaikh. 0.0
Went to The Curve on Saturday with Farah Zuleika. Had Italiannies for
lunchand then we walked around the bazaar and a coupla shops. Had a
Banana Blastoff before sending her to her car with Sze Yin. Aimran's
surprise dinner was at Tony Roma's. The food there is pretty good. I
had boneless beef ribs and chicken caesar salad. We had ice-cream cake
from Baskin Robbins, the one with the scoops of different flavours on
top. Yum. I was kinda on the brink of being broke (I had RM16 left..
:[ ), so Yew Eng helped pay for the Wild Channel cap and wallet
we picked out for Aimran.
After the eating, we adjourned to the
pool/foosball/karaoke place upstairs. It was my first time trying
foosball and it was FUN! Woohoo! The funniest things about foosball
though, are Zaim and Eka. Hahahahahaha Zaim with his weird goal-keeping
tactic (pushing and pulling the little men back and forth frantically)
and Eka with his comments/funny facial expressions.
And earlier today (Sunday), I had a super-random nosebleed. So I stayed home all day.
Yeap, it was a pretty good weekend..

It's been some time since I've
blogged. Although I don't really have much to say right now. I'll try
and pick out a few things that might be worth mentioning..
My sister is engaged. Hurrah and
boo. Hurrah because, well, she's engaged, and boo because that leaves
me as the only single daughter in the family. Not that there are too
many of us, but still. :(
Ramadhan is coming up real soon. We're expecting it to arrive around 13th September. Perfect timing - SPM Trials. Siiiiiigh.
I've just noticed that my face
turns a lot fairer and my lips become very red at night. When I pointed
this out to my parents, they got freaked out. Haha. Okay, I am getting
quite uneasy looking at my own reflection right now as well..
I'm printing the SPM timetable now. Kevin tells me not to stress out after reading it. WHOO. Hard not to.
I guess that's all for now. If
anyone reading this has got a collection of The Economist magazines
that they don't want to read anymore, do contact me as I'm interested
in starting my own 'The Economist' library. Hehe.
I'm going to see Gwen Stefani! Hurrah for Irina!
